Art Basel’s fifth edition in Hong Kong (March 23-25) will feature 242 premier galleries from 34 countries and territories, as well as a new sector, Kabinett. This year’s show features 29 new galleries and half of the galleries showing overall have exhibition spaces in Asia and the Asia Pacific region. The show takes place at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The Film sector presents an exciting program of short and feature-length films by and about artists.
This year Film sector includes three special screenings, completing a program of 37 works by 36 artists, represented by 27 galleries, exploring seven diverse themes, shown in Theater 2, Hong Kong Exhibition and Convention Center. Curated by Beijing, Director and Founder of Beijing Art Lab, Zurich-based multi-media artist and producer Li Zhenhua.
