Sus n°4

Sus 4 is the result of a creative music video collaboration between Till Nowak and the Norwegian electronic music project “Pjusk”. It shows a digitally manipulated Norwegian landscape (based on aerial footage provided by Fuglefjellet), that has been liquefied in a complicated process that took Nowak three months to complete.

« Sus shows nature in a dreamlike, manipulated state, playing with the sense of scale by creating a confusion between immense and small spaces. It creates the appearance of looking at a chemical process through a microscope, but at the same time you are looking at something gigantic. It plays with the thought of human scale in relation to our environment. Listening to the music of Pjusk I think it sounds like the noise our planet would make if it was a living being and the visuals are reflecting these sensations, as well as the title Sus, which is the Norwegian word for murmur or humming.» (Till Nowak)
