By 2017-03-22ArtJaws News

The AICA France Prize for Art Criticism 2017 will be awarded this Friday, March 24th, 7:30 PM at the Palais de Tokyo

Initiated in 2013, the AICA France Prize aims to enhance the work of art critics who are often misunderstood by the general public and thus make contemporary art visible through a discourse facilitating its understanding. 10 art critics, members of AICA France, are invited to present an artist of their choice according to the format of the PechaKucha: 20 images commented for 20 seconds each for a total duration of 6 minutes 40.

The winner, selected by an international and professional jury, will benefit from an article in the French magazine Le Quotidien de l’art, media partner of the event, and from a monographic publication funded by AICA France. The event is supported by AICA France’s office: Raphaël Cuir, President, Elisabeth Couturier, General Secretary and Isabelle de Maison Rouge, Treasurer.
