Frieze Academy offers a unique programme of talks, workshops, symposia and short courses exploring all aspects of the worlds of art and culture, and access to the individuals and institutions that make the international contemporary art scene thrive.
This fourth part of the new series ‘How to Collect Art’, proposed by Frieze Academy, will be hosted by Pernilla Holmes and will explore collecting new media including video, installation and performance art, with speakers Louise O’Kelly and Eugenio Re Rebaudengo.
Pernilla Holmes
Pernilla has worked with a range of blue-chip contemporary galleries, written for leading arts magazines, advised important private collections and curated numerous critically acclaimed exhibitions. A veteran contributor to the Financial Times magazine How To Spend It, Pernilla has a knack for spotting trends ahead of the curve. Pernilla joined Wedel Art Advisory as Director in 2010, and has since co-curated London’s The Arts Club’s collection and exhibition programme, amongst other projects.
Louise O’Kelly
Louise O’Kelly is an independent curator and arts professional based in London. In 2015 she founded Block Universe, London’s first performance art festival that takes place across major institutions and unique off-site spaces throughout the city annually.
Eugenio Re Rebaudengo
Founder of Artuner, an on-line platform for contemporary art, Eugenio Re Rebaudengo is a prolific collector and a member of the Tate Young Patrons Ambassador Committee, as well as the Whitechapel First Future committee.
