Waiting for the next edition of Némo – International Biennale of Digital Arts, various meetings and events will be organized around the theme selected for this year:
” Chance, accident or serendipity ? “
The opening night of “Les Rendez-vous de Némo” will be held on June 28 from 6:15 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Grande Halle de la Villette.
Gilles Alvarez, director of the Biennale and ArtJaws guest curator, will preside all the events organized within the framework of these meetings.
In occasion of the launch of the call for projects for Némo 2017/18, the International Biennale of Digital Arts – Paris / Île-de-France will offer new monthly appointments around the theme “Chance, accident or serendipity? ” and on many other topics. Dominique Moulon, curator and art critic, and Gilles Alvarez, director of the Biennale, will organize and animate a series of conferences, surprising and declined in every different forms, followed by concerts, audiovisual performances … and serendipity surprises.
In the program :
· Launch of the call for projects for the Biennale 2017/18.
· Inaugural Conference of the cycle “Chance, accident or serendipity?” with Xavier de la Porte (France Culture, Rue89), Sylvie Catellin and Danièle Bourcier.
· Audiovisual performance by Centaur Kurt Haeseleer and Franck Vigroux (associated artist at the Biennale 2015/16).
