Lynn Cazabon creates work using a diversity of media and methodologies, including photography, video, audio, web, mobile applications, installation and public art. Her work has been exhibited extensively nationally and internationally in museums and galleries for the past 20 years, including solo exhibitions at The Mattress Factory (Pittsburgh, PA), Artists Space (New York, NY), Hallwalls Contemporary Arts Center (Buffalo, NY), Schroeder Romero Gallery (New York, NY) and featured in group exhibitions at the Govett-Brewster Art Gallery (New Plymouth, New Zealand), WRO Art Center (Wrocław, Poland), 516Arts (Albuquerque, NM), Atlanta Contemporary Art Center (Atlanta, GA), Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum (Ridgefield, CT), Portland Institute for Contemporary Art (Portland, OR) and as part of the US Department of State Art in the Embassies Program. She has received grants and residency fellowships from the Fulbright Scholar Program, The Trawick Foundation, Greater Baltimore Cultural Alliance, Franklin Furnace Archives, Maryland State Arts Council, Klondike Institute of Art and Culture, Playa, Jentel Foundation, Camargo Foundation, Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts, MacDowell Colony and Yaddo. Her work has been featured in books and exhibition catalogs and is in the permanent collection of the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston and the Govett-Brewster Art Gallery (New Plymouth, NZ). Cazabon is an Associate Professor of Art at University of Maryland Baltimore County.
