Benefiting from his scientific education, Julien Borrel act as an artist to show and make some links between different areas of knowledge. Looking at the objects around him which make the world as a “naïve expert”, he tries to define it in a rational way. Julien don’t create pictures, he find it. As a gleaner in an information jungle, he observes and plays with words and concepts. Usually, purposeless or trivial subjects sparked his interest. He develops some methods and tools to pursue each of his studies. The subject takes shape when he is close to rational or physical boundaries. Sometimes the failure of the laws and theorems becomes the art work, sometimes a pointless loop occurs.
